Pakistan hands over Indian citizen to BSF after year long captivity over Wagah Border dispute

LAHORE: An Indian national, Dalwinder Singh, who had unintentionally stepped into Pakistan’s village at Ballanwala in Kasur, has now been returned to Indian Border Security Force by Pakistan Rangers Punjab at Wagah Check Post after due legal process.

Dalwainder Singh, 23, had accidentally crossed the border and entered Pakistan in March 2017.

Dalwinder Singh was grateful to Pakistan security forces for the humane treatment he was subject to during that time frame until his return.
