Funeral prayer of Haji Abdul Wahab offered at Raiwind Tableeghi Markaz

LAHORE: Funeral prayer of Ameer of Tableeghi Jamaat Haji Abdul Wahab has been offered at Raiwind Tableeghi Markaz in Lahore on Sunday.

A sea of people, including Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervez Elahi and other influential people, participated in the funeral prayer led by Maulana Nazar-ur-Rehman.

Abdul Wahab was chief of Tableeghi Jamaat’s Shura (council) in Pakistan.

Famous scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel said Tableeghi Jamaat and all of their followers were part of the garden created by Haji Abdul Wahab.

“We all are aggrieved today. I have no words (to describe my feelings),” he said.
