Pakistani VJ Mathira got struck by a gruesome car accident in Dubai, suffers injuries

Television host Mathira was involved in a serious accident on Tuesday. The celebrated VJ was in car with a friend when it was hit by two trucks.

Famous VJ, host and model, Mathira, was involved in a horrific car accident in UAE this week, Khaleej Times reports. According to her Instagram stories – posted on Monday, December 31 – Mathira’s friend’s car (a red Hyundai) was hit by two trucks as they were driving down a Dubai road.

The host posted an emotional message thanking Allah for saving their lives in the ‘horrible accident’ and even updated her 155,000 followers on the status of her and her friend, Sara’s injuries. Mathira posted a picture of her in hospital wearing a neck brace and being rushed into emergency as the rest of Dubai geared up to welcome the New Year.

The 26-year old further relayed that her friend Sana is out of danger as well and requested everyone to remember them in their prayers.

Mathira then wrote how the two have been saved by the Almighty. “My friend Sara is well, Masha Allah. He has his mercy on us and saved us,” she penned. “To be honest, bad eyes and ill wishers do cause a bit of damage. Allah will repay these people for their thoughts.”

She also thanked her friends who stood by her in difficult times. ““My friends are a gem. So much love and care. Thank you for making me feel so at home and looking after me in my good and in my bad times. Allah blessed me with another life. His mercy and protection always be on me and all of us. Amen.”

Talking about how the past year went for her, Mathira commented, “2018 gave me a lot of happiness and a little pain. Like three fractures on the ribs and a dislocated jaw. I know my pain will be rewarded.”

Talking about 2019, Mathira feels nothing but gratitude. “May Allah be with all of us in our good and more in our bad times. Trust Him blindly and you will see miracles like I saw one today: a second life. May Allah bless us,” she concluded.

The starlet is currently under treatment at a hospital.

Mathira, a model-cum-actress, is known for her brief appearances in movies and hosting of a number of morning shows on different television channels.
