GUJRAT: A man killed his wife and three children following a domestic dispute Thursday night here in the district’s Chak Jani town, media reported, and committed suicide by way of self-immolation.
According to police, the man — identified as Fayyaz — attacked his wife, two daughters, and a son, with sticks and knives, eventually killing them during the clash.
The children were between five and 16 years old.
The dead bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for post-mortem and police said an investigation into the tragic incident was underway.
