After the PM Imran Khan’s orders, 322 Pakistanis were brought back from Malaysia by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
These Pakistanis were unable to come back home earlier after direct flights were cancelled between the two countries in the last week of February following the tensed regional situation, sources reported.

As soon as their aircraft touched the Pakistani soil, high pitched slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” could be heard.
Most of the Pakistanis were caught by the Malaysian officials upon the expiry of Visa or work permits and they were facing difficulties in returning to the country because of the suspension of direct flights.
Some emotional moments were recorded at the airport as the citizens met their loved ones, who welcomed them.
Ghulam Sarwar Khan, while speaking on the occasion said that Prime Minister Imran Khan feels the pain of overseas Pakistanis.
