Prime Minister Imran Khan was put to a Covid-19 test. His sample was obtained by health officials, and the test is scheduled on Wednesday.
The decision was taken in line with a standard operating procedure (SOP) proposing that a test should be carried out on any touch with a confirmed Covid-19 case.
Confirmation about the test came from the focal person of the prime minister on Covid-19 Dr Faisal Sultan. “Prime minister will undergo Covid-19 test as he met philanthropist Faisal Edhi who later tested positive for the deadly virus,” he said at a news conference along with Prime Minister Khan.
