The Punjab cabinet may allow the reopening of businesses tagged with necessary precautions.
Punjab Minister for Industries Mian Aslam Iqbal said the provincial government would be reviewing the situation soon and gradually allow businesses to resume operations.
FCCI President Rana Sikandar Azam Khan told the Minister that the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector had effectively absorbed the first phase of coronavirus lockdown, but that its extension aggravated and multiplied the economic and social problems.
