According to a railway spokesperson, Pakistan Railways has confirmed it would refund previously bought tickets, provided they were bought before the Covid-19 lockdown travel restrictions were implemented.
“Anyone who purchased their ticket before the lockdown was imposed and couldn’t travel can now ask for an immediate refund,” the official said in a statement.
The refund can be collected from the nearest train station or the ticket booking office.
