Sindh government eased the lockdown, enforced after the National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting in Islamabad to curb the spread of Covid-19.
“The meeting of the NCC dated 1st June 2020 deliberated, discussed and decided on its proposals on lockdown during the Covid-19 emergency with the objective of opening up economic activities and focus on compliance of SOPs by concerned businesses, persons and general public so as to prevent the spread of Covid-19 while such economic and other activities are undertaken,” a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department read.
According to the notification, after a meeting with the transporters, the provincial government has allowed the public transport to open again.
Days to do business were also extended to five days instead of four (Monday to Friday). Business timings have also been extended to 7 pm.
