Federal Economic Affairs Minister Khusro Bakhtiar said the pandemic has triggered significant instability in the global economic system, stressing health infrastructure and social deprivation.
Addressing an Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) meeting, the minister said the most affected were the emerging markets and developing countries.
He lauded the Covid-19 crisis response facility of the AIIB which was announced to support economies of member countries.
