Pakistan, has been embroiled in a tussle between the opposition and the government since the anti-government rally in Karachi and its aftermath. On the other hand, it was tweeted from an Indian account that civil war is taking place in Pakistan after the abduction of police chief in Karachi.
According to rumors, four Pakistani soldiers and a sub-inspector of Sindh police have been killed in a clash in Karachi. And tanks have been spotted on the roads in Karachi.
In a few hours, another tweet from the same Indian account read: “Heavy gunfire echoes from Gulshan-e-Bagh area of Karachi, Pakistan Army tries to arrest Sindh Police Superintendent Muhammad Aftab.”
The International Herald, an Indian news outlet on Twitter also claimed that 10 police officers in Karachi were killed in clashes between the Sindh Police and Rangers as a civil war had supposedly broken out.

These tweets came as a shock to Pakistani users as they had nothing to do with reality and in this regard many users also reported this news as fake.
But the trend did not stop and similar tweets from various accounts in India continued throughout the night.
Prashant Patel Amrao, an Indian Twitter user whose Twitter account is not only verified but also presents himself as a lawyer for the Indian Supreme Court, fuel the rumors by tweeting that ‘Pakistan is in a state of civil war. Several personnel have been killed in clashes between the police and the army. Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered the national anthem to be played on the radio and the US Navy is likely to arrive at the port of Karachi’

Many people responded to Prashant Patel’s tweets by jokingly exaggerating them ‘I am here in Karachi and we sent a signal to Batman all night but he did not come. We are so angry with him. But then suddenly Captain America came to our rescue. Then we saw that Batman was fighting from the other side.’
The same thing happened on Wednesday when several Indian news channels and news websites ran similar news and, in the headlines, expressed concern over the ‘possibility of civil war in Pakistan’ and wrote that ‘Pakistan Army has destroyed all of Karachi. Police stations have been seized.
These included the Twitter accounts of Zee News, India Today, CNN18 and several others that are verified on Twitter.
They went as far as to link the Maskan Chowrangi blast in Karachi, which is believed to have been caused by a gas leakage, to ‘unrest’ in the city.
