OGRA declared LPG price amplification by Rs7.99

ISLAMABAD: The Oil Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has declared amplification in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price in Pakistan by Rs7, on Thursday.

The notification by OGRA states, the revised price for LPG will be Rs133 per kilogram. Also the prices for local gas cylinders and commercial use cylinders are boosted by Rs86 & Rs329 respectively, due to which the revised price for selling will be Rs1,565 and Rs6,021 respectively.

However, the Caretaker government Finance Ministry on 1st August, proclaimed in their notification that Petroleum related products price will remain same and this decision is the basic right of the upcoming new government.

The petroleum products related prices are kept same in order to provide a helping hand to general public.

The price rates per litre for petrol, diesel, kerosene, and light diesel being constant  are of Rs95.24, Rs112.94, Rs83.96, and Rs75.37 respectively.

Also the GST has been revised on petrol, diesel, kerosene, and light diesel. The GST is reduced from 12% to 9.5% for petrol, 24% to 22% for diesel, 12% to 6% for kerosene oil & 9% to 1% for light diesel.
