Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari invited Maryam Nawaz and other opposition leaders to an iftaar dinner at Zardari house yesterday (Sunday).
According to sources, Bilawal had personally called opposition leaders that included Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz, Maulana Fazlur Rahman and Asfand Yar Wali Khan.

The opposition parties, including PPP, PkMAP, JUI-F, PML-N, National Party, and ANP, have decided to hold an All Parties Conference after Eid. The conference will be summoned by JUI-F’s Fazlur Rehman, sources said.
“Today we invited all the opposition leaders to this iftar-dinner and I am thankful that they came,” Bilawal said.
“We have decided to keep on meeting to discuss Pakistan’s issues and find solutions to the people’s problems,” Bilawal added before announcing the opposition parties’ plan to launch protests after Eid.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the participation of Maryam Nawaz, the recently appointed vice-president of the PML-N. Many people said that this is the first time that she met Bilawal, however, she clarified this misconception: “This is not my first meeting with Bilawal.” She said that they met first when he and his father, Asif Ali Zardari, came to condole her family after her mother’s death.

Maryam Nawaz also took to twitter to thank the PPP chairman for inviting her for the iftaar.
“Thank you very much BBhuttoZardari for the lovely iftar, especially for getting up mid-meal & fetching me tea. You are indeed a gracious host. I hope this meeting will culminate into us becoming voice of the masses of Pakistan who have been crushed by inflation & incompetence,” she wrote.
