On Thursday, Dr Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, said that concrete measures were being taken to counter novel coronavirus in Pakistan.
Dr Mirza advised people not to get panicked after discovery of some coronavirus cases in Pakistan, saying that the government was committed to ending the spread of the disease in the country.
He added that the Pak-Iran border had been shut and travelers who came from Iran were isolated at the border after the screening process in Taftan.
