South Korea reports less than 50 cases for the first time

Ever since the peak of cases reported in South Korea from February 29th, South Korea has now reported less than 50 cases of new coronavirus for the first time. As daily infections in Asia’s largest outbreak outside China continued to trend downward.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recorded 47 new infections, compared to 81 a day before, taking the overall national count to 10,284.
