Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab has rubbished reports suggesting Hyderabad’s coronavirus positivity ratio has exceeded 15 percent, saying such claims were misleading.
Wahab, in a video message, said that the official data of the last few days indicates that the positivity rate in the Hyderabad district remained at 8.7%.
The statement came hours after the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) said in a statement that the Covid-19 positivity ratio was swiftly rising in major cities, with the rate crossing 15% in at least three cities throughout the country.
